The Rock Island Milan School District & the Check and Connect Community Group are hosting the 2nd Annual Summer Opportunities Expo Drop-In! The event will take place on Wednesday April 17, 2019 from 2:30-5:30 at the Martin Luther King Center 630 9th St. Rock Island, IL.
The goal of the event is to connect parents to the various opportunities available to them during the summer, and to allow them to register students for summer activities and camps.
Organizations represented: Spring Forward Learning Center, Boys and Girls Club, Rock Island Library, YouthHope, Rock Island Parks & Recreation, Putnam Museum, Martin Luther King Jr. After School Program, Black Hawk College, YouthHope Rock Island, Two Rivers YMCA, Eastern Iowa Community College, Western Illinois University, Augustana College and the Salvation Army.
There will also be raffle items and light refreshments!
Whether it is for 10 minutes or 30 minutes, we look forward to seeing you drop in to sign up for summer programs!
