Fifth-grade students at Rock Island Center for Math and Science had the opportunity to take a field trip to the Nahant Marsh Education Center.
The students got to learn about the earth's natural resources and compare local habitats. It aligns with the curriculum that the students are learning class. The trip was a fun way to take the students out of class and give them a hands-on learning experience.
The students got to participate ina variety of activities, from team building, wilderness survival, bird watching, exploring reptiles, to understanding and finding insects in nature!
