Some students in Rock Island High School's Choir got to perform with the Nova Singers over the weekend.
Nova Singers is a 20-voice ensemble with a nation-wide reputation for expressiveness, virtuosity and innovative programming.
It's part of Project Sing!, a program that reaches out to aspiring young singers from the community. This unique opportunity allows the students not only to sing with a professional choir, but to see how they can turn vocal music into a lifelong passion.
The students spent a couple weeks rehearsing with the Nove Singers and learned a lot. They were honored that they got to participate in this experience!
