Some students at Denkmann Elementary School had the opportunity to get a first-hand look at trades from professionals in the industry!
John Deer volunteers spent time doing different activities with students. Students were put into groups and got to experience all the different stations. The activities included virtual reality welding, a tower making activity with spaghetti and marshmallows, a gear activity where students used power tools and followed directions to put the gear together. There was also a "toy" tractor building activity where students have to follow directions and use building language.
Each John Deere employee also talked about their roles at John Deere with the students.
