Edison Jr. High Students Chosen to Attend Student Leadership Day

Eight Edison Jr. High Students were chosen to attend the Annual Student Leadership Day at the Skokie, IL Holocaust Museum and Educational Center.

On Wednesday, Feb.19 students had the opportunity to participate in a day of sharing, brainstorming, and planning for social awareness.

The Student Leadership Day programming engages students in activities that inspire them to build their leadership skills, explore their roles as citizens, and develop a deeper awareness and understanding of human rights issues.

Students leave with increased knowledge and new tools and resources that emphasize the importance of standing up against injustice and bigotry.

They will be named local ambassadors for the museum as a result of their participation.
