The Rock Island-Milan Family and Community Liaison team is hosting a virtual book club event for kindergarten through sixth-grade students once a quarter for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.
Every quarter parents can sign up for their child to receive a book and a literacy kit. Then the district will host a live stream read a loud event. At each event, there will be special guest readers and teachers. There will also be $500 in gift cards raffled off!
Join us for a fun night of reading, tips to help your child at home, and an open dialogue about various social topics that our nation faces.
The first event will take place on Thursday, November 19, from 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Kindergarten - 3rd grade) & 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm ( 4th-6th grade).
