RICMS Temporarily Closure

Due to a staff shortage (combination of normal staff absences and potential exposure to COVID-19), I am recommending that RICMS close (go into an Adaptive Pause) on Friday, January 14.

During this time, all students will revert to remote instruction for a full day of learning on Friday, January 14. Students should log on to Google Classroom at the start of the normal school day.

Students will return back to school on Tuesday, January 18. This closure only affects the Rock Island Center for Math & Science. All other schools in RIMSD #41 will remain open.

If there are any further updates, RIMSD #41 will communicate immediately via Remind, robo-call, and posting a notice on the website www.rimsd41.org. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing cooperation with our COVID policies and procedures as we work to help protect your children, your families, and our staff and their families from the COVID-19 virus.
