Each year Thomas Jefferson Elementary invites former students back to the school before graduation to do a "Walk of Pride" through the halls in caps and gowns. It has become a tradition over the last 6 years, and it is something that the staff and students at TJ look forward to each year. Overall 29 students attended the Walk of Pride on Wednesday, May 25. Seniors were treated to lunch in the TJ library before they donned their caps and gowns for the walk.
"Some of our teachers haven't seen these students since they moved on from Thomas Jefferson," said Principal Dr. Dorian Maag. "It makes everyone feel good to know that the work they do in education is worthwhile. Getting students to graduation is the goal. We are very proud of all of our seniors and wish them well."
