On a cloudy Friday morning, some sunshine was brought to Rock Island Academy students.
It was the school's Annual Million Father March, where men in the community line outside the entrance of the school to greet students as they walk in.
The special event encourages the influence of men in the lives of our students. It supports and increases male participation within our school environment. In attendance were parents, RIMSD staff, Rock Island Police Department, Rock Island County Sheriff's Office, RIHS Baseball, Football, and Basketball players, legislative officials, and more!
This is the 8th year for the event, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger.
