Ramona Dixon, the district's Director of Grants, Accountability & Assessments said this about Frances Willard,

"It is with great pleasure that I announce Frances Willard as the School of the Month for FACE!! Frances Willard has worked extremely hard this year to improve participation in family engagement events hosted at the building. They have done so by offering a wide variety of opportunities that were outside of the traditional ones that the building hosted in past years. For instance, the team hosted a Tolerance Museum and was able to make this opportunity accessible to the larger community!

Even through all of the adversity, this team was faced with, Frances Willard did not stop providing opportunities to engage with families. To date, Frances Willard has hosted 9 events, all of which have had 60 or more people in attendance. These leaders and learners are modeling for the families and students they serve by being intentional in including learning standards and focusing on building relational capacity! Let's go Willard!"

Congrats Frances Willard!
