With the recent measles outbreak in the Chicago area, the Rock Island County Health Department wants to remind parents whose children are not up to date with the MMR vaccine, that if a case of any measles were found at school any child without the required 2 MMR vaccines on hand will be excluded from school for a minimum of 21 days. 

 

If your child is not up to date please contact your child's physician or the health department (309) 793-1955 to get the needed vaccines. If your child has these vaccinations please provide a recent vaccination list to your child's school.
