Rock Island - Milan families,

 

As most of you know by now, our community is grieving after a 10-year-old student passed away as a result of a tragic accident at Sunset Park on Monday afternoon. We want to offer our deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and classmates of the student. 

 

Support from our RI-Milan community is key in tragic situations like this. RIMSD #41 has activated our crisis support plan and will be offering support services this week for those impacted by this incident. Support services will be available on Thursday and Friday (June 20th and 21st) from 9 am to 3 pm at Edison Junior High School (4141 9th Street Rock Island).
