RIMSD Recognized at the Development Association of Rock Island’s Annual Meeting

The Rock Island-Milan School District was recognized by the Development Association of Rock Island (DARI) last week for having the most employees utilize the DARI program for the second consecutive year.

The Rock Island-Milan School District is a member of the Development Association of Rock Island (DARI), a non-profit focusing on business, community, and economic development. DARI works to leverage various community resources, including a partnership with the Rock Island Economic Growth Corporation (GROWTH).

GROWTH offers the Live-Work Rock Island grant, providing eligible participants with financial assistance for down payments and closing costs. The program also includes personalized counseling and an educational workshop to guide homebuyers through the process of selecting, purchasing, and maintaining a home.

This program continues to be an invaluable resource for our district, and we are grateful to both DARI and GROWTH for their ongoing support for our growing team!
