Invitation Letter to Join the RIMSD 41 Superintendent's Advisory Council: Feb 24, 2025

Dear Rock Island - Milan School District 41 School Community:

I am excited to invite you to join the RIMSD 41 Superintendent’s Advisory Council for the 2024 - 2025 academic year (with an option to continue into the 2025 - 2026 school year). These councils will serve as a vital platform for collaboration, where diverse perspectives and voices come together to shape the future of our schools and community.

As a valued member of our community, your insights and expertise are critical to ensuring our district continues to meet the needs of all scholars, families, and staff. The Advisory Councils will meet monthly, beginning in March, to discuss key issues, review initiatives, and provide feedback on policies and programs.

We will have four key advisories for school community members:

1. Scholars 
2. Teachers
3. Staff 
4. Families 

Details of Participation:

• Meeting Dates and Times: Mondays from 5:00 - 6:00 pm (the exact dates will be shared soon)
• Location: RIMSD 41 Administration Center 
• Commitment: March - June 2025 with an option to continue into the 2025 - 2026 school year
