Due to the potential for inclement weather, all school district events and activities are canceled in the Rock Island-Milan School District #41 this evening. Outside organizations have also been advised to cancel their scheduled practices and meetings in the schools for this evening.
Specifically:
- Lady Rocks Girls Basketball game (away @ Galesburg) is postponed until January 29;
- Rocks Boys Freshman Basketball game (away @ Galesburg) is also canceled. Reschedule TBA.
- Lady Rocks Swim Meet @ Rocky is canceled. Reschedule TBA.
- Edison Jr. High sports practices and Wrestling meet is canceled.
- Washington Jr. High sports practices and Winter Celebration event is canceled.
- 6th grade band and orchestra concert is canceled.
- No afternoon Head Start / Preschool for All / Early Childhood Special Ed. Parents can call 309-793-5928 with any questions.
Tickets for the Boys Basketball Game at Alleman on Friday, Jan. 12 will be on sale until noon tomorrow.
The RIMSD #41 Wellness Committee meeting is canceled and will be rescheduled for next Thursday.
