Due to the potential for inclement weather this afternoon, there are some cancellations in the after school activities.
Specifically:
- Earl Hanson Elementary Lights on For Learning after school programs are canceled.
- Spring Forward Learning Center after school programs at Rock Island Academy, Rock Island Center for Math & Science, Frances Willard, Ridgewood and Thomas Jefferson are canceled.
- Frances Willard Elementary after school choir is also canceled.
- Eugene Field Elementary after school programs are canceled.
- Washington Jr. High: All after school athletic practices and Lights ON clubs and programs are cancelled. The 8th Grade Parent Info Night at 6:00 pm is canceled. Info is available on the WJHS website. The event may be rescheduled.
- Rock Island High School - Practices for girl's track, swimming, freshman and sophomore boys and girls basketball are canceled. All other practices must end by 5 pm. All open gyms are canceled for the evening.
