Concession Crew Sweep Final Pitch Night Awards!

The INCubatoredu Entrepreneur and Enterprise students gave their business pitches to a row of “sharks” at FINAL PITCH NIGHT on Thursday, May 24 in the Rock Island High School Auditorium. Five entrepreneur teams vied for three awards: Best Pitch Award, Best Business Potential Award and Best Business Model Award:
 
  • TRAX - A pet finder collar with tracking chip connected to an app. Mentor: Eric Spriet, Quad City Bank and Trust. Team members: James Forslund, Maddie Inman, Scott Kerno, Gracie Roady and Morrio Rogers. 
  • GoReaders - A subscription based app geared to improve student reading and literacy rates. Mentor: Curtis Crosier, Intuitive CFO. Team members: Ethan Braun, Dyashia Colvin, Ty Lewis, Blaker Pfaff, Myianna Walls. 
  • Pit Crew - A vehicle concierge service that will coordinate repairs, pick up vehicle and deliver to service. Mentor: James Greenwood, Patricia Matson. Team members: Alex hendricks, Courtney Linsday, Quinn Neville, Justin Randle and Daniel Wilson. 
  • 150 Dream Team - An assistive product for keeping shoelaces tied. Mentor: Randy Jacobs, TAG. Team members: Miles Crawford, Cruz English, Patience Mutoni and Hannah Wright. 
  • Concession Crew - A concession delivery service for large venue sport/concert guests. Mentor: Tracy White, Creative Affairs. Team members: Owen Beltran, Anthony Collins, Michael Elston, Clayton Price and Bryce Trask.  
Concession Crew will have their name engraved on the award plaques to be displayed in the INCubatoredu Entrepreneur and Enterprise Classroom. A video of their pitch presentation will also be submitted to the national INCubatoredu Pitch Competition. The team also received $5,000 in startup cash to further their venture.
