Angie Paprocki's class at Denkmann Elementary put a Halloween twist on their book reports this week and designed pumpkins around storybook characters. Some students chose superhero or fairy tale characters, others chose animal-centered stories.
"The students really embraced it and were excited to talk about their book reports," said Ms. Paprocki. "They took more time to think about the story and the character. It's important work as we are wanting them to develop those critical thinking skills."
