Rock Island-Milan School District Head Start families celebrated healthy lifestyles at the annual "Choosy" event on Sunday, February 10!
This year the event was held at the Rocky Fieldhouse, and it was a perfect winter day to be indoors and be able to participate in the activity stations. The day also included swimming in the Rocky pool!
Head Start families loved getting to see the high school and siblings who are now in various RIMSD school buildings loved coming back to participate in activities and see the mascot, Choosy. Several community partners also offered additional activities and information as well! A great time was had by all!
Family Engagement activities are offered throughout the year as part of the comprehensive services offered through the RIMSD #41 Head Start program.
