Equity Statement
In 2016, during the development of the district strategic plan, Rock Island-Milan School District #41 began its work in cultural competence and inclusion which led to the creation of a CQ Team. Since that time, the district has continued its focus on maintaining a culturally responsive learning environment, implementing strategies for communicating and interacting in different cultural settings and ongoing CQ professional development for staff.
During the 2021-22 school year, RIMSD #41 saw the importance of working together to embrace the diversity within our district and develop an Equity Statement that is in alignment with our RIM2025 Strategic Plan Core Values.
